Slowly, Lansador reveals the existence of another version of the Thor crew from another timeline. When probed for more information, he is elusive and the crew are unsure if this is the truth or another of his games. Especially when the Intel provided on him is revealed to be fraudulent.
He also points the finger of suspicion at Mangus, the rival he helped Major Wood capture and advises them to check certain parts of a subroutine. He claims this will clear him and Williams. As to why Mangus could be able to engineer all this when she is currently under lock and key, Lansador suggests a form of “deadmans switch”, a pre arranged set of events that would happen if anything was to happen to Mangus.
Deciding enough is enough, the XO ends the meeting and returns to the runabout. As they beam aboard, news reaches them that Williams is to be moved to a secure facility…
