Everything is starting to come together, the seekers, the chenae, the energy beings,,,,, I have had the time while i have been here to piece things together so to speak. The artifact we initially encountered all those months ago is infact a chenae ascention device, and from the looks of it the seekers of the light have got their hands on it and ascended to what purpose is not clear but what i have done is learn alot from the AI here about the seekers of the light.
Their entire belief system is based around a supernova that a "mysterious" profit called meklar managed to survive, he formed a splinter group and started preaching his chenae book of light, he gained a small following and aparently has turned to acts of terrorism in order to attempt to make the chenae government formally adopt their religion. This is somthing the chenae strongly appose as their core beliefs in what they call "the way" is to follow an honourable path of your own making however as i have found in almost every culture i have encountered, there are always those that prefer to be lead.
What they intend to do with the ascention device is unclear but what i do know is that it will somehow end up in the past and so will seekers of the light. I have to do somthing to prevent this, people are getting hurt and what ever the intentions of the seekers it will not be good for the galaxy, not in this time or any other.

Mission: To Follow the Light
Log entry:
Ops - Vice Chief Lombardia - was instrumental in pinpointing the Chenae station using a metallic scan, as well as in later getting a transporter signal through the station's shields so we could recover Lt. Commander Zapatero and Lt. Ellison. Also of note is Ensign Oaksi's commendable performance at the helm in difficult conditions.
Individual reports:
To: Captain Mulgrave Dwi, CO, USS Sheppard
From: Lt. Commander April Coswell, Chief of Operations
We were about 10 minutes from the system where we hoped to find the Captain and her away team when Commander Hamelin and I arrived on the bridge a few minutes apart. At her request, I took the XO position and assigned Lt. Lombardia to handle Ops. As we got closer to the system, we encountered some solar flares emitted by the local star, which made for a slightly rougher ride.
While investigating those flares, Science also obtained a vague reading which looked like it could be the station, but scans were inconclusive. I suggested that we scan for metallic compounds, which yielded results that allowed helm to plot a course. As we made our way there – avoiding increasingly-powerful solar flares on the way – we received a signal from the station itself, welcoming us back. Shortly after this, communication was established with the T66 AI, which told us that its duty had been fulfilled and it was soon to go offline. Upon further prodding, it added that its duty was to have us bring Meklar the prophet – aka the priestess in our brig – to this particular time and place. Speaking in increasingly religious terms, it volunteered that it was “time for the Light to be born” and that it was estimated that in 100 years the Midgar and neighboring sectors would be converted to the Seeker religion. As the station was sending wave after wave of energy into the sun, it became clear that the AI’s intention was to have it go supernova.
We were hit by a particularly vicious shockwave, which threw us 30,000 kms closer to the station. Ensign Oaksi backed us away, but not before we managed to spot a Starfleet shuttle under attack by the station. Commander Hamelin ordered helm to close some of the distance between the shuttle and us so we could extend our shields around it – and after repeated hailing, we got a response from the Captain, informing us that she was coming in hot. I barely had time to order the flight deck to prepare for an emergency landing.
I made my way down to the shuttlebay with Dr. Axel and Lt. Krupinsky to check on the Captain, but obviously she was in good health – we came face to face with her and Lt. Coronet when the lift doors opened. When we had made our way back to the bridge, the Captain asked me to find a way to get a transporter signal through the station’s shields. Lt. Lombardia and I fired a tachyon burst at the station’s shield emitters, causing them to reset long enough for us to read their cycle frequency. I relayed this information to the transporter room, which allowed us to recover Lt. Commander Zapatero and Lt. Ellison.
As the shockwaves from the sun’s flares were getting more and more fierce, the station began emitting chronitons and opening a temporal anomaly, obviously intending to flee. The Captain was tempted to follow, but finally ordered us out of there at maximum warp.

I was assigned to Ops as the USS Sheppard was enroute to a Chenae repair facility while in silent running. As we approached it appeared the facility was emitting some kind of beam into the systems sun. We had to use a combination of following the beam and calibration of our sensors to the stations hull composition to pinpoint it.
When we came close we recieved a hail from the stations Artifical Intelligence. The AI welcomed us back and said we fulfilled our purpose which was to return Melkar. Melkar was the same prisoner we formerly had in our brig. I detected a Federation shuttle craft outside of the station. Eventually the station began to attack us. Science determined the beaem it was emitting into the sun was meant to force it to supernova. The Captain and a few others made an emergency landing in the shuttle bay but there were still crewmen aboard the station.
We had little time. Lt. Commander Coswell and I prepared to fire tachyon particles at a section fo the shields to force them to rotate their shield harmonics giving us a window to free our people. We beamed the remaining crew aboard. The Captain and her away team had done something while on baord the station that would cause it to be destroyed. We narrowly escaped at warp speed as the station exploded.

We've finally made it back to the Sheppard, but it wasn't exactly easy.
It started off with Capt. Dwi., Lt. Coronet, Lt. Cmdr. Zapatero, and myself conspiring against the Chanae station's AI, T66.
Under the guise of performing some shuttle maintenance, we were able to get a few minutes alone without risking T66 overhearing us. In the next hour, we formulated and executed a plot of liberation from the station that we had been calling home.
For my part, I was to "distract" the AI from one of our shuttles using a number of queries designed to overload the station computer's processing capability. Once the AI was busy, the captain and Lt. Coronet took off in the other shuttle to complete their part of the plan. In the meantime, I had managed to anger T66, and it engaged the weapons within the shuttle bay. Thankfully, the firing was minimal and sporadic.
In the lower level of the station, Lt. Cmdrs. Zapatero and Ravenheart were doing their piece but were also fired upon by the station's systems. They held out as long as they could while I tried to time a window to lower the shields of the shuttle I was in, and transport them up there.
Unfortunately, my timing was off, and the port nacelle of the shuttle was struck. I was able to beam both officers aboard, however.Lt. Cmdr. Ravenheart had been injured, so we needed to get back to the Sheppard as quickly as possible.
As Lt. Cmdr Zapatero and I were working out a way to get out of here, there was explosion above the shuttle, and then next thing I knew, we had been transported to the Sheppard's sickbay. Certainly a surprise, but not an unwelcome one.

I was assigned to helm for today's duty shift. We were in silent running and on course to the general area where the satellite had been. Once we approached the system we slowed to ½ impulse. There was a lot of unexpected solar activity, that gave us quite a bumpy ride. It took all of my concentration to keep the ship on course and I had to slow to 3/8 impulse to be able to compensate for the solar disturbances.
Once we entered the system, Science sent me a set of coordinates, but there was no rhyme or reason to them, and they were not particularly useful for plotting a course. Then Ops detected a metallic object and feed me the coordinates of it. Cmdr Hamelin ordered me to set course for that object, and it was the station. When we arrived, Cmdr Hamelin was greeted by an AI automated system. That system seemed to have developed religious beliefs and was convinced that something significant was about to happen that made our desire to find our crew “irrelevant.”
The station shot something into the sun and subsequent shock waves nearly knocked us into the station. I backed away to a safe distance of 40,000 KM. Then there was a shuttlecraft and it was shooting at the station. I have no idea where it came from. I was ordered to move into range where we could extend our shields over the craft and did so. The craft turned out to contain the Captain and part of the missing crew. Once we shielded her, the station began firing at us. As soon as the shuttle was on board, I was ordered to take evasive maneuvers.
Once the Captain came to the bridge, I was ordered to move move to the other side of the station from the sun. Shortly after that the sun began to go nova and an anomaly opened up (I think). At any rate, the station began moving to the anomaly at a speed much faster than I would have expected a station to move. I was ordered to follow it but before I could catch it, XO Hamelin said that the sun was about to go nova and if we did not leave immediately we would be destroyed. So the captain ordrered me to set course out of there at maximum warp. We were able to escape the worst part of the blast radius, but were rocked substantially by the shockwaves resulting from the blast. I lost control of the ship for a bit but was able to get it back.
=========================================================
Conclusion:
I am happy to report that one of our Ops officers, Lt. j.g. Melisa Ellison, is back with us and, most importantly, unscathed. I am told that she played a key role in keeping the T66 AI busy with computer queries while the Captain and Lt. Coronet escaped. I wish to commend her creative thinking in this matter.

<Temporarily stranded on a futuristic space station, part of the Sheppard's crew finds themselves struggling to escape it and preventing a religious terrorist act.>
Individual Reports:
<I've spent about all the time I can muster on this space station. Accompanied by our <Captain> Mulgrave Dwi, Helm Ops Officer <Lieutenent J.G.> Melisa Ellison, and Science Officers <Lieutenent J.G.> Arayula Coronet and Leo Ravenheart, it's been a difficult couple of weeks.
Some say that someone who tends to your every need would be heaven but when faced with it, it's not only annoying but counter productive. A futuristic A.I. is an engineer's fascination but this piece of engineering was on my nerves.
However, our fearless Captain seemed to have other plans. Somehow, she managed to convince this A.I. that our team would be better off piled up into our shuttle. Of course, this A.I. was plenty curious as to our actions but due to Lt. Coronet's Shuttle Communications Blackout, we were unheard for at least a few minutes.
After our small debrief from Captain Mulgrave, apparently we were smack dab in the middle of a religious terrorist plot. I am not much into religious politics so I can't speculate but what I did understand is that these terrorists were using some ascension device to screw with time.
My task in this brief was to somehow destroy that machine. As I said, I don't understand much of this debrief but if there is one thing I do understand is destroying stuff. To accomplish this, I had to sneak down to the station's main control room and close up a few conduit ducts to the station's cooliant system. Without them, it was my thought that the lack of cooliant would overheat the system and cause several failures and catatrophic tendencies.
It didn't come without a price however. With Lt. Ravenheart, we managed to sneak down to the station's main console room. Everything seemed to be working out until I hit one of the station's security algorithms. An easy mission slowly began to be a fight for survival as turrets began firing at us both. I managed to get out of there with a few minor laser burns to my left leg. Lt. Ravenheart sustained a few chest injuries that miraculously we managed to link back up with the USS Sheppard and its Medical Sickbay.
Damage and Repairs Timetable:
<Well, after successfully closing the conduits of the station cooliant systems, the station began to overheat from the inside out and successfully destroyed the freakin thing. Yea, would have been nice to keep and analyze the technology but ((that would be godmoding. lol)).>
