=/\= MISSION BRIEFING =/\=
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

We have arrived at Nehan, Hapke 8026-Va, returning to the oceanic M Class moon orbiting a gas giant in the system. A science team is preparing to join the local archaeologist Ra’Vaash to survey a new Rajan excavation in the sea near a long dead volcano with the hopes that we will find some clues to point us in the right direction to find a potential living lost Rajan colony.

While that team is surveying under water, the rest of the crew has started shore leave rotations. The island we will be visiting has become well known for its black sand beaches and tourist amenities for long haul traders, explorers, and other interstellar visitors. Medical has been seeing elevated stress levels in some of the crew and has mandated R&R, especially after the intense several months the crew has gone through.

OOC Notes:

- This briefing was done before the mission! If you are joining the science survey team, have your EVA suit ready. If you are partaking in shore leave on the surface, consider this a mostly free-form RP. Be aware there will be locals from the sim we are visiting around. Please be cordial and friendly and represent UFS and the Atlas well.

--> We are a long range science and survey ship. That means we find weird stuff sometimes. Create! Let's see what we all can come up with!

* Please allow people to do their jobs and be thoughtful of the fact that people join departments and divisions to do their jobs. Try not to step on their functions. If you have something to help someone (advise that they may or may not follow) instead of saying something publically, it might be more useful to IM them and discuss it with them.

* Departments should be working together. There should be enough possibilities for everyone as long as they all work together and cooperatively. Do not be afraid to do OOC planning in IM.

* This is more or less freeform, but please don't have it as "Q did this". We need to get ourselves out of our own jams (not that this has ever been a problem with this crew).

Remember that the point of all this is to have fun! Good luck and have at!

Is innocent, I swear, I know nothing, absolutely nothing. It was like that when I got there. The ship ran out of dilithium. There was a problem with the nacelle. I didn't have credits for fuel. I wasn't able to get a uniform, I wasn't able to start the ship. An old friend came in on a freighter. Somebody stole my shuttle. There was an earthquake. A flood?!? The food replicator created actual locusts!

It wasn't my fault, I swear to God.
