On Saturday 12th November, Rachel Pfefferi gave another fascinating and thought provoking illustrated presentation at the Astrotheatre on Astraios Colony.
Rachel's presentation was part of the "Boldly Go Trekking" series of lectures and this time was on the "Future of Human Evolution''.
Having first shown and explained how we humans evolved over the past millions of years, Rachel went on to show how we have continued to evolve over the past 10,000 years and in more recent times.
Rachel then looked to the future and concluded that the next stage of Homo sapiens evolution is that to Homo machina.
Rachel's presentation was followed by a lively set of questions and comments from the audience.
