Kermie has made the decision to resign from his position as team co-captain in order to focus more on his responsibilities as CinC in light of all the recent changes. He is not leaving the team; he is simply stepping down as Co-Captain.
Kermie has been an invaluable sidekick helping me lead the team over the years. We worked well together and tried to create an environment encouraging members to share our enthusiasm for the relaying.
Please join me in thanking him for all of his hard work for the team and his years as a fantastic co-captain!
With that said, I've asked Lt. Mikie Rhiadra, who has caught the relay bug with us to join me as my new sidekick leading the team to Relay at Warp Factor 9! She is thrilled to be a part of the team and I look forward to seeing what we can do to create a fun and productive season for you all!
So be ready, my butterflies, we're going to set course for Relay in the new year! Get your relay shoes on and your flags ready, we're setting course for Relay at Warp Factor 9!!!! GO RELAY!!!!!
