With the journey to the target coordinates projected to take a few days, the Captain instructs Lt Amaya to give LaKiffe and Lomarn a refresher session to make sure they are able to fully participate in an away mission taking place in any environment.
Taking them to the ships gym, Dax and Springshade put the pair through their paces. On the bridge, the Captain and Major Wood confer. Not trusting that LaKiffe isn’t leading them into some sort of trap, they decide to increase security in critical ship areas.
LaKiffe and Lomarn are proceeding well in their PT session. As Dax moves onto the next stage, the ship suddenly starts to shake and lurch. These become increasingly violent as they return to the bridge. The Thor has dropped out of warp and is now being pulled into some kind of gravity storm…
