I just completed my first mission in over a decade and it really is like riding a bicycle. The team I was working with were intelligent, helpful and hard working. They didn't even question the fact that an old fossil who was stuck in a transporter buffer for ten years was running point. I do find it hard without my team from Shogun. We were like a well oiled machine, I am sure that my senior staff could read my mind half the time. However, those days are done and I'm starting over now. It is time to work with a new team and develop new relationships.
I'm still pleased and amazed by the reception I've received. I am a bit troubled that people heard of Shogun and myself as 'legend', but I guess that is the way with younger folks. I will do my best to contribute and rebuild.

Commander Ulrich Bechir
