Class Synopsis/Outline:

“Mentally Tact” – ‘Problems test the limit of one’s abilities; one cannot expand beyond their limits without them’.

Course Description: Training to ‘think’ their way through Tactical and Operational Procedures while serving as Starfleet Officers in all areas of Starfleet. A ‘how to do before you do’ to handle the unexpected and the expected.

Course ‘Tact’s’ are derived from TV SHOWS, MOVIES, paperbacks and personal creativity! Tacts may or may not be the exact event you actually see in shows and films, Some are, some are not, but if you’re thinking ‘Starfleet’ then you should eventually come up with an answer that is acceptable.

Objectives: Better knowledge of operational systems, tactical options, on/off ship and other situational events (planets, shuttles, stations, etc.) Working separately and together to solve issues.

Higher Objective(s): To get people to think in this environment, in a Starfleet way. Develop confidence to be a more active part of Starfleet role play (really getting into ‘being there!’). ‘Creativity‘ in solving issues. Starfleet Officers can handle more than one issue at a time – indeed the very best can handle three (3) or more!


** TO PASS THIS COURSE: Passing TEN (10) Tacts plus TWO (2) 'Bonus Tacts' passes the entire course.
