Mission “The Grand Tour”

For some months we detect lots of intense subspace transmissions coming from Sector 004B, explored by the USS Shogun a few years ago. A small (NPC) UFS fleet was present in that sector some time ago but was never heard from again. The transmissions are scattered throughout the whole sector and the vastness of the Nekrit Expanse makes long range scanning the area even more harder. The origins of those transmissions is Rajan. UFS knows the presence of Rajans thanks to Captain Nabuleone Rhode during his time at Pathfinder. The Rajans were even in the Pinastri system according to Science data gathered by Pathfinder. We don’t know what these transmissions are other then it contains remote directions for their Sentry Robots of the Dalek class. It could be a threat to UFS knowing that Fleet was totally lost. We must sent a small Intell. Team with specialists to Sector 004B and assess the situation and do whatever it takes to nullify the threat and the source of the transmissions. While there we must locate any unknown solar systems and explore it fully and find evidence of the Rajan presence in those systems and also any UFS ship lost in that sector. The refitted USS Magellan will be assigned to this mission.

Team list:

Captain Gijsjan Broek
LT. Buck Ghostraven
LT. Daddy Meriman
LT. Cmdr. Calypso Titanium
LT. Cdmdr. JessicaClaudia Maynard
Captain Nabuleone Rhode
Crewman Joe Duddle (NPC)

Mission equipment:

- 1 extra Torpedo tube on the rollbar: 3 quantum torpedo’s and 1 transphasic torpedo
- 1 extra heavy sensor pallet in the rollbar.
- Heavy stocked armoury.

Mission Day: 1 "Blast off!"

Today the team boarded the USS Magellan and undocked from SS Echelon and set a course to Pinastri Prime. We arrive in 2 days in order to pick up Captain Nabuleone Rhode and then a 2 day trip to the target area. Things will be quiet for now.

Mission day: 3 "Pickup & practice"

Today we entered orbit and beamed up Captain Nabuleone Rhode and uploaded his database about the Rajans. Daddy and i went to the main holodeck in the Colony for some battle practices. After that we broke orbit and are enroute to the target sector at Warp 9.2 for a 2 day trip. Adventure awaits us soon.

Mission day: 6 "Too close?"

We entered the Nekrit Expanse today and our dangerous mission starts now. The sensors have picked up subspace disturbence a light year ago. We reduced our speed to Warp 5 and going to investigate.

Mission day: 7 "Stuck!"

The ship suddenly dropped out of warp today. The local subspace is scrambled and we detected the same disturbance like we did while enroute to the Midgar system sometime ago. Were trying to locate the source and fly to it on full impulse.

Mission Day: 8 "Bang for the Buck!!!"

We managed to locate the rogue asteriod and indeed, a Rajan Outpost is present on that rock. Daddy and i beamed down and engaged the Rajan Dalek's defense perimeter. After a big shootout we knocked them all out and also the shield. We then downloaded the data and i took the fusion reactor offline. After i placed 3 spatial charges we blew up the outpost and beamed back to the USS Magellan. Analysis shows that this outpost is a comm. relay which relays signals to 3 sources. 2 to other outpost and 1 to an unknown and unexplored solar system 3 ly's away. We set course at Warp 7 to that system. We expect to arrive tomorrow.

Mission Day: 9 "Pirates of the Caribean"

Today we arrived at the unknown solar system where the Rajan transmissions coming from. Scans show a 4 planet system with 1 M class planet. Tech scans show that planet is home of a 16th century earth like society with lots of wooden ships. Pretty much the standard infrastructure of that time era. Daddy and i beamed down for a first recon and we found a small town with a fort and bar along with 2 wooden ships. More to come.

Mission Day: 13 "Aye, Cap'n....Brothel you say?"

Today i've beamed down to a remote island in the north west hemisphere of the planet. Buck was also on the planet finding the signal traces. This island have a large wooden building with los of rooms and my scans indicate this is what they called on ancient earth a brothel. not sure what that exacly means but i guess its a place for pirates to entertain themselves. On top of a hill i saw a defense grid with 2 iron based cannons. Nothing else but trees and no one in the area.

Mission Day: 14 "Sail ho?"

After a few days of intense scans and exploration the Heavy sensor pallet found an anomoly on the south east area of the planet. We cant exacly pinpoint the source but we are getting close. More covert sorties needs to be done.
