Hello, Science Branch!
You may have already seen via Discord, but as of today, Stardate 230510, I am proud to announce that T’Lara (MelodyParis.Resident) will be officially taking over as Science Branch Commander. She has been working closely with me as my Vice Branch Commander for several months now, in preparation for this transition. She’s done marvelous work: instituting science chats in our Science Branch Discord channel on the UFS Discord, holding a branch-wide meeting that was well attended, and putting together the first ever UFS Science Fair. I have full confidence that momentum will continue to make Science Branch the best branch in the fleet.
It has been a true honor to serve as the Branch Commander since September of 2020. I have learned a lot, and I value the experience that it has given me. I know that T’Lara will not only continue to promote Science as a Branch that is engaging, fun, and not as intimidating as it seems to be, but she will also continue to add new things with her unique voice and skills.
I still look forward to taking part in science discussions and hanging out in the Science branch Discord channel, so I won’t be disappearing completely. I may be wearing a red uniform, but my heart will always bleed blue. Keep up the good work, Science Branch!
