Yes we are still active and we are on Holodeck rather than the test serversJawnGrimm Resident wrote:Is UFS still active on STO? Which server?
I request to be added as well, Allen@allenBlatchford, Seems the website is down?
Sent you one late last week but it responded with you were already in a fleet, will try again.
I've been playing in there for a few weeks and am currently a Rear Admiral. I very rarely see anyone in there and would love to know if there are teams and events. I deposit lots of consumables and several items in the different tabs and I don't know anything about the energy credits but I earn them doing lots of missions. I do PvE missions all the time and deposit the Fleet Marks into the different projects listed in the Fleet Tab. I would love to actually see people from UFS there, but I don't know if it's the time of day I'm there or what. I'm still trying to learn lots of things like what to do with my Horta that follows me all around now I'm DeannaSukra@deannasukra if you want to add me or find me.
You must be missing everyone, as I have seen you on numerous occasions, plus others. I know Mac, Madadh, Kermie, Kira, and a few others play on a regular basis, myself included in that. I would not be oppossed to fleet events, as we definetley need the FM's to get that starbase built up.
I... have been neglecting my STO 'duties' somewhat. RL has had me running around like my hair's on fire, and as many of you know, that is a LOT of fire.
IF It helps, drop me a line if anyone's got ideas for Fleet Events, times, dates, etc and I'll relay them to the appropriate folks. PMs, IMs, and via the corporate email: vchief-ops@ufstarfleet.org - see if we can't get some more organisational details going on to sort out the more explodey THIS IS MY BOOM-SHIP fun (I'm sleepdepped, so excuse the goof-offery) - as for those who want to join up and haven't found one of us, again, PMs, IMs, Email - let me knwo what your person@name is, and around about what time you're at. you should find me on macgaelyth@macgaelyth.
As for fleetmarks: the easiest way to get Fifty a time (and thank you Kira for informing us about this in STO) - go to find out the Officer Reports missions where you go to do foundry 'user-created' content missions. That should give you fifty marks a time, and is repetable. Just don't go for things like easy money/credits, as they WERE designed to have the enemy ships as passive i.e. does not shoot at you, but STO maanged to close that exploit gap, so if you do go on easy money, instead of 25 Negh'var sitting all docile taking your torps up the exhaust pipe, you'l lhave 25 very angry and very powerful klingon warships pummeling you like a mole at a whack-a-thon. If anyone's got better suggestions for FM Farming, please let us know?

What I usually do is use the PvW missions to level up and usually get about 22 FM per round and it's repeatable. Plus the gear you get during them is so good. I sell it in the exchange and use the energy credits.Hitman Jayaram wrote:You must be missing everyone, as I have seen you on numerous occasions, plus others. The one thing that threw me for a loop was that my bridge officers wouldn't transfer to my new ship when I made Rear Admiral. I noticed there were five great bridge officer slots, but no way to add my current crew in. So I asked for new bridge officers and they said there was no room on my bridge, but my slots were empty on the new ship, which I made sure was active. Confusing, so I went back to my Captain ship and just put all sorts of read admiral gear on it for now. When I make upper half I'm going to see if the ships have better bridge slots. My ground officers are highly trained now and they are all Commanders, which I can now promote to all Captains. The game has been a fascinating new way to explore fandom, that's for sure. I would love to see fleet events though.
I try to donate many FMs a day if I can.
Bridge Officers dont transfer over automatically. Onc you change ships, you should be able to slot them in as normal. If for whatever reason you cannot put your bridge officers in the desired slots, you might have a bug. If it persists, Id recommend filing a ticket to the Devs about it.
I was unable to slot them in at all. My tactical bridge officer is a commander, but the new ship that I chose only had a Lt. slot for tactical (which I found odd due to the fact that I was going from Captain to Read Admiral). I was happy about having another bridge officer slot available and an extra tactical station, so I didn't know what else to do, so I requisitioned another tactical officer to see if I could slot him/her and that wouldn't work.Hitman Jayaram wrote:Bridge Officers dont transfer over automatically. Thanks for the advice. I'm going to try to slot them in again and if it doesn't work, I will put in a ticket.
The fact that you went from a Captain ship to an RA ship isnt what affects the Bridge Officer slots. It is the type of ship you have. Example, if you have a Prometheus class, which is a Tactical Escort, you'll have more tactical slots then anything else. That means for Science and Engineering, it may only offer a Lieutenant slot, or a Lieutenant and Ensign slot.
That aside, if you were compeltely unable to slot your officers in, my suggestion would be to submit a ticket about it. It is more then like some wierd bug.
