STO Fleet Archive
You can't claim IP on ideas anyway...only the product from those ideas. So unless you copy Cryptic storyline and don't follow your own storyline, you can't be accused of "ripping off" someone elses idea.
And don't read into my statement. I stated a fact, nothing more, nothing less. Don't be offended by it. I mean really..."You people" are just stating that the "idea" has been around for awhile and encouraging you to not be bummed by it. It's not uncommon that people come up with the same ideas. You should continue to develop your story idea and write your story. It sounds like an interesting twist to the story. Hopefully, not as dry as the Dyson Sphere book was too. Good luck.

Before I get flamed for appearing to be ignorant of RL, let me assure you, I have more than my share of RL problems at the moment, but to get some relief, I spend a lot of time in STO. However, I feel like I'm the only person contributing to the betterment of our fleet projects, which means that's a lot of work for one person to be doing, and in some cases, a fair amount of money. We are still on Tier 0 on most our projects, for heaven's sake. If few people in UFS are active in this fleet, then I am probably going to take my leave of the STO fleet and look for one that has some activity.
I'm not trying to guilt anyone into getting active. If you think STO sucks, then so be it. I've seen plenty of negative comments about STO tedium from folks who had been active, and yes, I can see they have a point. But at the rate we're going, I'd just as soon be building my own fleet, no offense. All I am seeking is some sort of consensus answer regarding the status of UFS' STO activities in order to make my own decisions. Thanks in advance.

hi... I am active once a week in sto. I have plunder all my old characters there and supported our fleet projects this summer. At the moment I only do some missions.

Hello Veovis,
As with all projects what is needed is someone to actually put his shoulders under it, take point if you like.
If you want to be that person, then we would gladly give you that responsibility

I know how it feels to be one of the only, if not THE only person contributing on projects and trying to d-fib the heart on this fleet. Trouble with the fleet projects though is a retard was left in charge of them, hence why they went nowhere. Only thing I can tell you is just keep pressing on in the hopes things will improve.
