RECOMMENDED READING/WATCHING LIST FROM THE LECTURE

1. The novel, "From Earth to the Moon" helped inspire the making of the 1902 French film "A TRIP TO THE MOON" ( "Le Voyage dans la Lune") which is regarded as being the earliest example of the Science Fiction Film genre.

2. "FROM EARTH TO THE MOON" is a 1958 American film adaptation of Jules Vernes' book of the same name

3. "THE FIRST MEN IN THE MOON" was a 1919 black-and-white silent film based on H.G. Wells novel of the same name.
