Captain's Log:

Stardate: 200122

Alert Status: Yellow

He got away. That miserable bastard managed to escape even with the Exeter and Veracruz pinning him down. We took out his cloak, which gave us a direction to pursue before he got it fixed, but now the trail has gone cold again.

I've spent....I've spent....I don't know how long I've been down in astrometrics, but I've narrowed the options of likely destinations down to four planetary systems, If we have to search each one, then that is what we shall do, but I swear, Skellos will be stopped.

Executive Officer's Personal Log:

Stardate: 200122

Alert Status: Yellow

Aryela sits in her Ready Room, going over recent logs from Astrometrics and pinching the bridge of her nose.

"Computer, create personal log.

The Captain's recent actions are concerning. He has always been deeply attached to various circumstances, and Skellos has been highest on that list for some time now. But his behavior now is borderline obsessive. I truly understand such desires... it is unsettling to me how much I understand this need to be obsessive over the man. But he is doing so to an extent I cannot condone.

I have been keeping an eye on his progress, and am aware he's narrowed matters down to four systems. But his work efficiency has decreased by 74.65% since he has entered Astrometrics. If he does not get rest by the end of the day, I will convince Doctor McKay-Sheppard that we will need to briefly remove him from command."

She is quiet for a moment, then shakes her head, rising to her feet.

"Computer, delete personal log, 200122."

Voice Recording:

I took the Helm at the beginning of shift and not only observed, but participated in a discussion among the Alpha shift Bridge crew about how Admiral Randt is obsessed with Skellos to the point where he has gone insane. Moon finally snapped and went to Astrometrics to talk sense into the Admiral while the rest of us sat on the Bridge. I expressed further concern about the Admiral's desire to go 'whale hunting' solo while leaving the rest of us out and I was ultimately offered the option of filing a formal complaint. If Admiral Randt keeps up this crazy solo mission, I just might do that even though I am hesitant; he's a good commanding officer and has been good to me, but he has forgotten the meaning of teamwork and collaboration in his quest for Skellos. He has become obsessed with it to the point of alienating even his husband and it takes a LOT for Moon to break!

Eventually, Moon wrangled Admiral Randt to the Bridge where he was promptly put on 'time-out' by the CMO, the doctor, and his husband after he shared what he had found out during his campout in Astrometrics. Apparently, his old friend, Vaylaa, helped him get the information and we are now on the course provided to us.
