Captain's Log:

Stardate: 191204

Alert Status: Red

He's back. That miserable son of a bitch Skellos is back. Somehow he managed to get on board with the engineering teams as the Veracruz was being repairs, and he was able to plant multiple explosive devices in main engineering.

We lost two officers, and if Moonprince hadn't managed to manually eject the warp core, we likely would have lost it and the ship as well.

Now while I am sure he enjoyed causing us pain, I know this attack wasn't purely to indulge his sadistic nature. I have to assume he wanted to totally prevent us from resuming our standard patrol, or at least delay us in that. As well as I know him, if he wanted us not to be somewhere, then there is a darn good reason for us to be there. In a game of cat and mouse like this, the stakes are far too often death and destruction, and our job now is to stop him before he causes any more of that.

Voice Recording:

Things went to heck right in drydock.

As we were preparing to depart drydock and go back into space, the Engineering panels went beserk and went dark. EPS ruptures materialized on multiple decks, Forcefields went down, and random transports sent officers all over the ship. We ended up having to eject the core and go back to drydock.
