Log entry:
At 1329 hours Captain Killian of USS Shogun Requested assistance from all personnel to search for and detain Lt Tarek Parsi, 2 squads of the 16th detachment assembled in the transporter room and beamed down at 1343 hours. I also authorized the launch of recon flights over the area 2nd LT Sydus lead the recon flight team. After clearing the colony proper and then we moved to the outskirts making our way from the bridge to the outpost then into the tunnels. Clearing the tunnels we moved up the path tot he top of th cliffs were I made contact with the subject shots were fired and I was hit several times when my weapon failed to fire, I cleared the weapon and we moved quickly and I was able to stun the subject and Security placed him in custody.

Conclusion:

16th MARDET Performed well in this Mission we were able to locate the subject and subdue him quickly. The miss fire incident with my weapons was caused by the safety failed to disengage when depressed. All in all a fine job by all on my team.

Log entry:

During our preparations to move the station we launched several fighters and some probes to detect attack, The captain ordered a no fly zone around the station for the duration of the move. I orders at 50,000 Meter the CAP was warn off any unauthorized intruder in our airspace, at 10,000 meters if they did not turn back they were to be fired on and destroyed if they did not turn back. I also ordered the 4 company Charlie platoon to assist security with station patrols and to repel boarders, 1st Company Alpha was to be moved to ready alert status for deployment to the colony if the need arrive. i also issued orders to have the Corps of engineers prep a ready team to be deployed to the colony to assist with fortification and raising defense in the event of an attack. at this point one of our probes disappeared, I deployed the ready alert aircraft and vectored talon 2 and 3 to search the area for a cloaked vessel. On their approach a shuttle decloaked and fired 24 missiles on Tranquility detonating in a small area burning out several shield emitters and then self destructing. Once the shuttle was gone I issued orders for a 12 man CAP at all times with a 2 more flights on stand by for launch until the move is complete.

Conclusion:
Something is happening and it is escalating quickly, we have had several ships destroyed and now an attack on the primary support station for our entire fleet. The fleet is on high alert as is the Marines the 16th is no different we will be vigilant and ready until the threat is neutralized.

Log entry:
at 1215 hours I launched in a F/B-274 Peregrine Black Sheep 001 for close air support of colony defense teams. Gavel from the 112th call in an air strike on a column of Klingarians in front of the academy building I swooped in low over the target and dropped 2 of my PBU-31 SPDAMs on the enemy forces. The weapons had minimal effect on the shuttle but killed several of the Klingarians. I rolled over hard and headed over the outskirts were there was another Klingarian ship, I dropped my remaining PBU-31 SPDAMs on target. the shuttle then opened fire on my flank I took minor damage. I swooped around again and came in low and fired my AGM-1168 on the Klingarians near the shuttle and I was hit with a torpedo my shuttle lost control and I crashed. My Weapons Systems Officer 2nd Lt James Odan was killed in the crash. I ejected the canopy and grabbed my survival gear including my Carbine and set off my Emergency Position Beacon. The marine unit I was supporting arrived to evac me from the crash but they had enemy forces behind them a fire fight ensued but we managed to retreat over the bridge. Shogun commenced an orbital strike on the shuttle. I took several phaser hits but managed to remain in the fight. Running low on ammunition. Gavel got Special tasking from Command to take one of them Klingarians alive. We moved back to the outskits and came across one group of Klingarians. I fired and stunned 2 of them and was hit by a phaser and stabbed in the neck. I woke up in sick bay and was released to light duty after treatment.

It is unclear at this time were the the Klingarian threat came from I suspect this is Q's doing. my teams are on full alert until further notice.

Log entry:

We had detected a anomaly a few hundred kilometers from outside the Pinastri system last week.
It was determined that there was an unknown species attempting to make a worm hole and come through. The wormhole had collapsed and snagged the ship where they were getting beaten down with gamma radiation.
We had managed to compensate our technology to pull the visitors through, but as understood, spouts of gamma radiation was let loose and spacial drifts meant it made contact with SS Tranquility.
Four science teams were deployed in aiding the worm hole structure itself. First Contact procedures went well with Captain Thrasher as per standard procedures, he was the closest and available diplomat.
With the information coming in from the bouys, we established that the universe beyond the threshold of the wormhole contained deep pockets of antimatter thus creating complications for the Federation.

Security and another group of marines in the detachment are monitoring traffic diversions to keep the area secure.

Log entry:
Intelligence had reported encrypted radio transmission emanating from an inhabited planet called Saterios IV. The planet hasn't been in the interest of Starfleet as it is considered as in early life. Being so close to Pinstri it had been considered the planet had some type of disaster, but renewed life has taken form.
It is not clear that this area is claimed by any space capable factions, so we have proceeded carefully to examine the planet before investigating the radio transmission claims.
Marine Captain Yalin and Lt Apple had both triangulated the source of the transmission which appears to be coming from a jungle near the equator. The herbivores, up to 12 meters in length, carnivores up to 9 meters in length, The herbivores are close by and there are also smaller carnivores, only 2 meters in length. We launched a class 3 probe to take a closer look at the toxic levels of the planet which we will collect when the away team land.

I manifested some basic security supplies that would need to be in hand as the planet lies in the late Jurassic state and as so, we confirm that there are reptiles, amphibians in the larger sizes. The inventory includes forcefield emitters to barrier us in from any carnivore species if our stay is for a number of hours. Preparation from ops to use transporters for emergency beams to take place in the cargobay and main transporter room.

Conclusion: SO2, CO2 levels are high, advising precaution to Federation races that some of the away team may require respiratory aid due to high levels of gas.

Log entry:
We loaded up our shuttle from the USS Goddard and set course to land on Saterios IV.When we entered the stratosphere we started to detect a build up of ion storms, lowering in orbit we found we were completely split from the USS Goddard where we were struck by lightening a few times. The bolts were that strong it took us into a crash course where Colonel Shran received critical injuries. As there was no established chain of command I organized security and marine forces to set up forcefield grid perimeter nets to house the away team. It was only set to be a resistant to the wildlife around us. A security team set up visual watch points wearing light combat uniform to protect themselves from the fungi on the trees that grew naturally as science reported it was a toxin to avoid.
Also I had attempted to communicate to the USS Goddard to keep them apprised of the situation but the connection broke a few times and had to be re-established. I had to be creative as most of the power went to comms and sick bay, so I used a converter and energy from the marine side arm as that could be disconnected and rigged to power the emergency transporter. I also made sure the fleet and marine crew had ample ammunitions just in case we had to use it.

Conclusion:
Colonel Talas Shran was noted to be stable after we called for an emergency beam out. I came along with the Colonel after dislocating my knee cap and swollen to the point I would put the security team at risk.
Ground forces are monitoring the situation and are in cooperation with science and medical to synthesize better protection.
Engineering and ops are working round the clock to restore full power to the shuttle. They have ample ration packs for food, for now.
