Captain's log, Stardate 111204

Three days ago the nearest sun to the chenae repair facility where the sheppard was being repaired went supernova, according to the chenae and science this was about a 100 years earlier than expected. We barely got out with our ship and to top it all off somehow our engines reconfigured themselves and interfered with the ftl anomaly the chenae opened for us to use as an escape, as a result we were thrown a further 100 years into the future into the radioactive remnents of the supernova.

The timing of this is very suspect, and i believe the chenae are involved, not their official government, they have been nothing but helpful and initially wanted to evacuate the sheppard, these actions are not consistant with someone wanting to do us harm. We have however heard of a faction within the chenae known as the seekers of the light, we have already encountered these seekers but not in this timeframe, from our investigations and our interogation of one of their priestess's in our brig the seekers here have the same religious ideals as that of the ones in the past.

This combined with the chenae's use of a chroniton based energy matrix for their ftl travel could suggest that some sort of time manipulation has occured, the thought of a bunch of religious zealots interfering in the timeline sends shivers down my spine. What isint clear though is our role in this, why are we being dragged through time and how.

Log entry:

Ever since we left the Chenae, space station under the strange occurrence we have been slowly making our way to a signal we had picked up on long range scanners. The radiation fields made it difficult to pick anything out. Also Security team was investigating our missing guest from the brig that got Beamed out during the mass exodus.

Individual Reports:
We were getting closer to our designation so I wrapped up my preliminary findings and handing the report to the Captain. Mean time Looking at the scanners I was able to make out that there were two ship. Well one station and one ship. I'm not really sure how we ended back at the Chenae space station but then I'm not really sure how we ended up 20k light years in the future.

We set off with two teams, I was assigned to the captain. We took a shuttle out and flew over to the Chenae. It gave me time to appraise Ellison's shuttle flying skills. I found she did a wonderful job and great asset to the Sheppard.

The other team had beamed over to what appeared to be a Oclar ship. The mix of technology on those is the most I can say that gives them away. While they were over there security reported that one passenger was found in there brig. More on that later.

Our own party found a very quiet Chenae station, Dwi and Ellison worked on recovering the AI. Mean time, commander Zapatero ,Lt Ravenheart and I made our way down the decks looking for the odd readings they had picked up from the Sheppard.

Surprisingly we found one of the artifacts. A large monolith type device with unusual writing emitting enough power to power up a fleet of ships and yet nothing seemed to be feeding it energy. There wasn't much for me there and security seemed in hand. Per the captains request I headed back to the USS Sheppard.

Commander Coswell had our guest in interrogation room A I was just beginning to question her when the Sheppard was brought to Red alert. I secured our quest in lock down and headed to the bridge. To my surprise the Chenae were there with a ship demanding our surrender. Commander Hamelin was working to negotiated with them. Though it didn't seem to be going well. I was brining all weapons online when one of the anomaly opened up on the station Sheppard pursued quickly barely making it through in time.

When we entered space again none of the stars in our currently location aligned up with our known star maps. Astronomic is going to have a field day figuring out where we are. Mean time we have began to search for signs of the our lost crew members that were still left aboard the Chenae station.

Conclusion:
Security is still high, I've asked all Security personal to wear Combat uniforms, we now have a new quest in our quarters who seems to be a trader in slaves. However on a good note most of the ship security systems are working now.

Individual reports:

To: Captain Mulgrave Dwi, CO, USS Sheppard
From: Lt. Commander April Coswell, Chief of Operations

After the star near the Chenae repair facility had gone supernova and we'd been tossed into another temporal anomaly, we emerged some 100 to 150 years into the Chenae's future. Nearby, we found the Chenae station as well as a ship with distinctive Oclar biosigns. I attempted to hail both the station and the ship on several known frequencies, but got no answer.

While Captain Dwi led a team to the station, I joined Commander Hamelin's team in investigating the Oclar ship - which was, I have to say, quite different in design and purpose from the ones we had previously encountered. There were rows of cells onboard - which, we learned from the sole Oclar we found locked in a cell on a lower deck, were used to transport humanoid cargo. It seems that the Oclar - or at least this Oclar - had become a rather successful slave merchant.

We brought the merchant back to the Sheppard, where I installed her in one of the interrogation rooms for a chat. Commander Marabana joined me and we were able to learn that the merchant had made a deal with the Chenae for delivery of the slaves. However, once the merchant ship had reached the station, the Chenae reportedly appropriated the cargo by force. The merchant added that these seemed to be rather peculiar Chenae, who kept talking about the Light.

My interrogation was cut short by an urgent summons from Commander Hamelin on the bridge. It seems that a Chenae vessel had appeared and was accusing us of causing the supernova too early. We were bracing for combat and trying to raise the Captain on comms - she was still on the Chenae station - when I suddenly read a chroniton buildup emanating from the station itself. Sure enough, an anomaly formed and the station went through. We laid in a course to follow, but once on the other side, we found no trace of the station... or the Captain and her team.

We are still attempting to ascertain our current location in space and time.

To: Lt. Commander April Coswell, Chief of Operations
From: Ensign Melisa Ellison, helm officer

This was an educational mission.

I started off my shift taking the the helm en route to the Chanae repair facility. As we approached, I initialized standard dock procedures. Considering the state of the Sheppard, it went fairly well... sort of a docking strut nearly breaking off. A portion of the officers were separated into teams, and we transported over to the station. M group went down to check out quarters where we’d remain for the duration of the repairs to our ship. I felt they’d suffice for our needs. The other team examined their science facilities. The science officers seemed to be incredibly intrigued by the Chanae technology--even I was. It’s not everyday you get a look into the future. At any rate, the Chanae have been saviors for us while we’ve been stuck here. Perhaps they’ll be our key to getting home sooner than later.

****************************************************

We’ve been sent further into time.

After a star near the Chanae repair facility went supernova, the Chanae created a new FTL anomaly for us to escape through. Apparently, the supernova interfered with the anomaly and sent us further into the future, another 100 years. The Captain believes this might have to do with a faction of religious zealots found both in this time and in our own.

At our arrival, we found we were near the Chanae station and there was also an Oclar ship nearby. At the captain’s orders, I put us into orbit around both the Oclar ship, and the station to see what we could find with our sensors. Upon completion of the sensor sweeps, we found a life sign on the Oclar ship. We were split up into away teams. I was with Capt. Dwi most of the way, as we made our way over to the Chanae station via shuttle. The captain found a dock on the station which we entered. Cmdrs. Zapatero and Marabana, and Lt. Ravenheat were on the following shuttle, and made their way in with us. While they checked out the facilities, the captain and I searched for any sort of computer console which might help us interface with the station to get more answers about our current location.

Once the console was found, I proceeded to investigate the system, and came across the old T6 AI which had assisted us in the past. After launching it’s program, I began questioning T6, trying to find out why the station seemed to be barren, and why the Oclar vessel only contained one remaining survivor. Much to my displeasure, I found the AI to be cryptic, as though its programming had been affecting by the religious zealots we had encountered.

In eventuality, I was able to discern that the artifact that Chanae use to ascend contained the energies of those who had previously used it, and that “heretics” (the Oclar) were sacrificed in the process of ascension. Given what we know so far about the Order of Light, and the fact that their existence occurs both here and in our own past, it’s reasonable to believe that this station has something to do with time travel. As to how that works, I’m not quite sure, but the station ostensibly has something to do with it.

Before we could find out much more, a sudden burst of energy erupted from the Chanae artifact, and defensive and propulsion systems automatically came online. With the station in its condition, it was really no match for the Chanae ship that had approached. I did my best to convince T6 to find a way to generate yet another anomaly to escape through. While, it was risky, we exercised the better part of valor, and got out of there. I’m not sure if the Sheppard, but beyond that we were stuck. Communications were cut off once the automated systems on the station kicked in.

It looks like we’re stuck here for the time being. I’m not sure if the Sheppard made its way through or not, but we’ll have to make the best of this situation for the time being.

***************************************************

Conclusion:

We are still attempting to ascertain our current location in space and time. We have also undertaken an in-depth scan of the area for any metallic compound or energy source that could be the station.

Lt. Commander April Coswell
