The Voyages Of The USS Grampian

The Ournal Class space dock can support up to eight Sovereign Class vessels, and up to twenty four smaller ships. Tranquility is a huge show of Starfleet strength as well as a safe haven and a place to repair starships. It also provides staging areas for many freighters and transport vessels.

The giant sensor towers and the forest of antennae allow the facility to scan for light-years around the area of the station. Non-Starfleet endeavours are welcome at Tranquility. Retail and office space along with cargo holds and numerous holodecks are available. Tranquility provides transporter service and trade arbitration if necessary.

Tranquility also has a significant tourist trade, by virtue of its role as gateway to the Pinastri Sector. Advanced medical and scientific research facilities can be found on Tranquility. The only limit regarding missions is the imagination of its commander.

Mission 120: J'Ula's Discovery – The Measure Of Morality Part 2

After some rest we returned to Yarnek to begin the next trial, whatever they have in store for us next will likely result in another tough choice.

Our next trial took us to a facsimile of ancient Iconia at the time of the main assault that forced the Iconians to flee their homeworld, didn't expect to be back there any time soon even in a facsimile. After scanning some bodies of troops from two long since extinct races in our time we headed outside to find Iconians under attack from hostile forces, we dealt with the attackers and talked with the facsimile of T'Ket who accepted our help in defending their people.
L'Miran asked us for our aid in help their people to get to the nearby gateway so we agreed to lend aid as we found more of their people to escort on the way.

When we reached the gateway it activated on it's own and to our surprise future T'Ket arrived through it, facsimile of course, with no intention on talking reason which left us with no choice but to defend ourselves after L'Miran refused to give the World Heart to future T'Ket.
Once future T'Ket was down we attempted to close the gateway only for an assimilated Hakeev to arrive through it and inject future T'Ket with Borg nanoprobes, assimilating her in the process which allowed her to take the World Heart from L'Miran without any trouble before killing her past self.
After they left L'Miran asked us to go after them to retrieve the World Heart, we followed them into a Borg unimatrix where Lincoln informed us that the trial had taken an unexpected turn and a path of it's own and Yarnek and the other Excalibians didn't want to bring the trial to an end, they wanted to see the outcome.

With no choice we pushed forward into the hive, we came across Hakeev and T'Ket not long after arriving and they gave us a tough fight before finally being taken down. We progressed on and came across the other Seven who we quickly defeated only for her to escape.
We progress farther one and came across the Borg Queen who had been killed, it didn't take us long to find out who had killed her as the other Seven reappeared and took her place as the new Borg Queen. We were able to force her to retreat after another tough fight which thankfully ended the trial.

We returned to Yarnek who felt that the results were inconclusive given how evil will do whatever it takes to achieve it's goals while good is weakened by not being as ruthless. We didn't have time to debate this however as attackers from each of the trials arrived forcing us to once again defend ourselves.
After they were defeated Yarnek was surprised that all of the safety measures that had been taken had been breached, they got a taste of just how far evil will go to achieve it's goals with no consideration for things like safety measures. We didn't have time to debate it as a Borg Octahedron appeared in orbit, a facsimile. Me, T'Met and Seven had no choice but to return to the Grampian in order to protect the Excalibians from their own creations.
Burnham went with Lincoln who had told her that there was something that there was something she needed to do in regards to the escalating matter.

In orbit we came under attack from the Borg facsimiles being made by the Borg Queen, we held our own as best as we could before we were greeted with a very welcome surprise after the Borg Queen had made various assimilated ships appears – Section 31 Control ships, Romulan ships, the Annorax, Iconian ships - facsimiles of older and current Federation ships joined us – The Enterprise NX-01, the Constitution class Enterprise of the 2250s and 2260s, the Enterprise from another universe of that same era, the Enterprise D, the Enterprise-E, the USS Defiant, the USS Voyager and the USS Discovery as well as the Enterprise-F.
With our collective forces we were able to destroy the facsimile forces after another tough fight, once the last ship was destroyed Yarnek contacted us to thank us for not just helping the Excalibian people but in also showing that good will do what it can to stand against evil's overwhelming forces.
We beamed down again to talk to Yarnek and the others, Seven returned to the ship with us once we were done as she still had to check on the sensor array and let other Feneris Rangers know to keep an eye open for any Orion smugglers in the Traelus system. Burnham was made fully human by the Excalibians and allowed to seek out her own path, she has decided to return to Starfleet for this, while Lincoln has stayed with the Excalibians to act as an ambassador for the Excalibians in reaching out to other races.
We gave Burnham a lift to the nearest starbase so that she could start her new path in life after Yarnek informed us that the Excalibian people would be learning from the path of good and to learn from the virtues of our efforts to protect them and we returned to the Grampian.

We are headed to the nearest starbase now, Burnham is eager to begin her new life or re-begin it as the case would be, whatever the future will hold for the Excalibians and their efforts in being part of the larger galactic community is hard to say but hopefully it will be a remarkable one.
As for myself and my crew there is simply the next mission, J'Ula is still out there and still a threat. Whatever happens next we'll be ready to face it.

It's been a long road to this point and still more road to go. We've got this.

Log ends.

Mission 121: Klingon Civil War – The Centre Cannot Hold

We were requested to head to Qo'noS by the Klingon Chancellor as J'Ula has arrived there to restore her house, trouble was expected to ensue. I had a very bad feeling that it was going to be the case.
Regardless we headed to Qo/noS where I met with Captain Kagran who provided some diplomatic insights on the upcoming visit from J'Ula, he felt that she was there for a fight instead of surrender and I couldn't help but agree, from what I've learned about her it was quite likely that a fight would be the case. Her brother T'Kuvma is still held in high regard by some in the Empire especially in regards of the Federation and how those who value Klingon purity agree with his ideals long after his death.
I then spoke to some from House Matok, House Duras, House K'Lek and House Mo'Kai before speaking to J'mpok before J'Ula arrived in the Great Chamber. She arrived shortly after I had spoken to the representatives of each house and to the Chancellor, she was quite blunt about her disdain for J'mpok and said a lot of things that gained her a lot of support for others in the chamber. It ended up in a firefight which ended quickly enough after J'Ula and Aakar transported away, me and my team returned to the Grampian once the last of J'Ula's guard was dealt with.
Although I wasn't fond of the idea of getting involved with what was now a Klingon civil war we were ordered by Alliance Command to head to the Ceron system to render aid to the Alliance forces there who had come under attack by J'Ula's forces and her allies.

Upon arriving in the Ceron system we assisted with repairs to Alliance forces and dealt with attacking forces with their help, J'Ula arrived before being forced to retreat again. With the system secure we were ordered to the Seedea system where we met with the Enterprise, a Federation starbase had come under attack from J'Ula's forces. We dealt with her forces quickly only to find that a virus had been uploaded to Starfleet forces, we had no choice but to disable our own forces and remove the virus from their systems while dealing with Mo'Kai forces at the same time.
We were eventually successful and able to deal with the Mo'Kai forces but the starbase was destroyed by the virus disrupting it's systems and we were unable to do anything to help due to how quickly it happened, once done there we headed to the Terrh system where Romulan Republic forces were also under attack but this time by Elachi forces who had appeared due to a rift opened by J'Ula.

We fought back against the Elachi and assisted Republic forces and non-hostile Elachi forces in closing the rift, with the system secure we next headed to the Qu'Vat system where J'Ula's forces and her allies were looking to launch an attack.
J'Ula instead hailed the colony on the planet and called for them to join her in her war, she didn't get the answer she wanted however and we did the best we could to try and force her to surrender which she, of course, refused to do. This led to another fight her forces before she suddenly opened fire on the planet with her stolen weapon, opening a rift on the planet itself, opening a rift on Qu'Vat city which wasn't a military target before she retreated.
We dealt with the last of her forces in the system before leaving the system, the allied forces staying behind focused on saving as many people from Qu'Vat city as they could. We sent out report to Alliance Command once we left the system, we were now part of the civil war in full with a focus being to stop J'Ula by any and all means.

She has to be stopped before she uses the weapon on more worlds, we have to do everything we can. This could be a rough war.

Mission 122: Klingon Civil War – The Khitomer Discord

We were dispatched to the Khitomer system where it's believed that J'Ula might be working from, intel suggests that she was working from four systems and this was the first we were to investigate. Martok was to meet us there.

As we arrived in the Khitomer system we rushed to the aid of the A.F.S. Khitomer, a new Alliance cruiser combining Klingon and Federation technology, which had come under attack from the Mo'Kai. Once they were fought off we hailed the Khitomer and spoke to her captain, Captain Kagran, who felt that J'Ula was on the surface while Intel suggested that her ship was in the system under cloak, neither of which could be verified. He suggested sending a team to the surface to investigate if she was on the surface, I offered to go down with my team while the Khitomer investigated erratic readings in the system that the captain believed could be skirmishers.

We beamed down to the surface where we met with Martok, we began our investigation while trying to raise any alarm among the ambassadors on the surface. We came across a recording made by J'Ula and planted as use to recruit others to her cause, we found a broadcast signal connected to the recording and tracked it down to the under chambers below the central chamber where we came under attack from Mo'Kai forces, we were able to get some information from one of them which led us to J'Ula and Aakar, Aakar fled during the fight leaving J'Ula to be taken into custody. She tried to explain that what had happened at Qu'Vat was not her doing but Aakar's and that she was willing to prove this.
We were met with another Klingon woman called Adet'pa who informed us that she was with House Mo'Kai and was working to bring an end to J'mpok's corruption. Seeing no other option I decided to let J'Ula prove her innocence about the attack on Qu'Vat.

We proceeded to return to the central chamber to find that J'mpok had sent troops to kill the diplomats and stop us from letting J'Ula prove her innocence, we fought off his forces only for the Mycelial weapon to be fired at the planet. We worked quickly to save as many diplomats as possible while keeping ahead of the growing mycelial rift while also dealing with hostile Elachi and J'mpok's forces.
We managed to get as many diplomats to safety as we could before managing to escape the rift before it reached us but we came under attack in orbit from J'mpok's forces and later Alliance forces who believed that we were behind the attack on Khitomer after J'mpok had lied to them, we had no choice but to disable them and prove our innocence.
We were kind of able to prove it but a bounty has been placed on our heads by J'mpok because of his lies and accusing us of what happened at Khitomer.

J'mpok has lied to the Alliance, lied to everyone for years and is willing to do dishonourable acts to achieve his goals. I find myself with no choice but to work with J'Ula and her house to bring J'mpok and Aakar to justice though it means facing the Klingon fleet to do so.
As a saying goes, it never rains, it pours. This is going to be rough going.

Mission 123: Klingon Civil War – Partisans

In order to clear our name before we can bring J'mpok and Akaar to justice for their crimes we had to head to a secure facility in the Gorath system, but first we needed the help with a specialist in the Nimbus system who could help us get into that facility.
We beamed down to Nimbus, returning to Shangdu where we had previously dealt with it's former owner, Hassan The Undying, now owned by Madren. We met with Martok before heading in and looking for Adet'pa. After talking to a few patrons we found her talking to a group of people called Captain Varh, Louann Wilkins and Kinyah from the O.S.S. Coldstar who offered to help us get access to the information to clear our names.
We didn't get to introduce ourselves for long though before coming under attack from J'mpok's forces who Madren had informed about our arrival for payment of course. We dealt with them quickly before confronting Madren who was hiding behind a forcefield.
We worked on getting the forcefield down while dealing with assorted arena creatures, once the forcefield was down and all attackers out of the way, including a rather large Voth engineered Tyrannous Rex, we confronted Madren and convinced him to let us leave before his ship was destroyed in orbit with him onboard, he wasn't happy but he reluctantly agreed and we all returned to our respective ships before warping to the Gorath system.

We arrived to find the Lukura under attack from KDF forces, we rendered her aid before beaming down to the facility where there were more forces looking for a fight. We defended Wilkins at each datacore as she worked on accessing the information, once she was done we had to deal with a final lot of Loyalist forces after Aakar greeted us before returning to our respective ships, he wanted the information which we refused to give him.
Upon returning to our ships we came under attack again by more KDF forces, we defended the Lukara as Wilkin's worked on gaining access to the communication satellites so that the truth on J'Mpok and Aakar's actions were shown to everyone.
It was a tough fight but we were able to buy Wilkin's the time she needed to access the satellites and the information was sent out across the Empire and beyond.

Whatever happens now is going to change a lot for the Empire as the information has divided the Empire on who is worthy of being in power. However J'mpok has declared himself as an emperor and disbanded the High Council which makes him an even bigger threat and J'Ula feels defeated from the division caused by so many being divided, she is experiencing a crisis of faith as a result.

Maybe she can find a way to help the Empire on Boreth, options are limited so to Boreth we'll be going.

Mission 124: Klingon Civil War – Knowledge Is Power

We headed to Boreth to help J'Ula find what faith she can in the Empire by following in the footsteps of her brother, T'Kuvma, who used to be a monk there. While religion is not something I have much opinion on I do support her need to find that faith if it helps in bringing J'mpok and Aakar to justice.

Upon arrival in the Boreth system we ended up involved in a fight in orbit before J'Ula, Martok and Adet'pa beamed down, we stayed in orbit should any more of J'mpok's forces arrive.

~

J'Ula's log:

I beamed down to Boreth with Martok and Adet'pa in the hopes of finding guidance and advice with my loss of faith in the Empire. We met with a monk called Tenavik who informed me that to find what I was seeking I would need to face some trials.
He led us to an enclosed chamber with a fire pit where we found some of J'mpok's lackey's waiting for us, once they were out of the way I sought the guidance I needed with such guidance being in the form of Kahless and three fights intended to test my resolve. Of the past I had to fight Molor, the traitor of the Empire. Of the present I had to face myself and of the future I faced off against Kahless.
With the trials completed and the keys of the past, present and future earned and presented to Tenavik I was granted the right to progress farther within the sanctum to find what I needed.

Before Tenavik could do that however we came under attack by more of J'mpok's lowly dogs who were launching an attack on Boreth, we fought our way though them before arriving at a bridge that Tenavik called the Bridge Of Time, we defended him as he completed a series of trials while we did our best to complete a series of challenges triggered by these trials, this allowed us to progress farther inwards to a place called The Chamber Of Time where Aakar was waiting for us.
We forced him to retreat after a glorious battle, the coward ran as he always does. Tenavik invited me to touch a crystal meant for me alone and I saw what I can only assume to be a glimpse of the future or a possible future, of a battle outside the Great Hall at Qo'noS and the destruction of Qo'noS by the Elachi and whoever opened the rifts that allowed to enter our realm, I backed away from the crystal only to touch another which showed me the battle of which I had seen the aftermath and a figure in flame rose from the centre of the ground outside the Great Hall, a woman from what I could see, and she took the fallen Sword Of Kahless which she held high after managing to unite the Empire with a command.
After my vision and explaining what I had seen to the others Tenavik led us from the chamber back to the bridge where we came under attack by more of J'mpok's forces and one called The Son Of None. We fought them off, killing the Son Of None, and proceeded to where Tenavik was taking us to, a chamber that seemed familiar to what I had seen in my second vision.

Tenavik explained that this was where the clone of Kahless had been created and that they could create a clone of the woman I had seen in the vision, as we had no other options I helped with bringing the cloning pit into operation and the clone was brought forth, a former Klingon chancellor of near two hundred years ago and Tenavik's mother, L'Rell. She had stood beside my brother before the war with the Federation was declared, I had learned that she had become chancellor and ended the war in order to save the Empire from a last resort operation by the Federation in it's desperation to survive.
She didn't wake though which Tenavik was concerned by, she should have woken but the body does not contain her soul. He has said that he will find out why her soul has not entered her clone body, Adet'pa will see what she can learn as well in the hopes of helping.
If she can unite the Empire then she will be a valuable ally against J'mpok and Aakar. J'mpok's forces were approaching however so we returned to our ships to face his approaching fleet leaving Tenavik with the clone of L'Rell, I can only hope that she can.

~

J'Ula informed us of her success briefly before J'mpok's forces arrived, we fought back hard against them but J'Ula's ship, the I.K.S. Lukara, ended up infected with a computer virus that caused it's systems to shut down and a warp core breach to be triggered. We beamed J'Ula and her crew from her ship before it exploded, Aakar fleeing as always after a push back on his and J'mok's forces before we could.
Whatever J'Ula learned down on Boreth it must be important, I'm sure she will inform me soon. If it can help us to stop J'mpok and Aakar then all the better, we will do all we can to help stop them before more lives are lost.

Mission 125: Klingon Civil War – Leap Of Faith

The monk, Tenavik, who J'Ula met at Boreth has asked us to return to Boreth to assist J'Ula in restoring the soul of L'Rell to this clone body that was created, J'Ula explained everything after our recent visit to Boreth. I'll be heading down to Boreth with her as she has asked for the assistance of me and my team, an unusual request but we'll do what we can to help.

We beamed down to Boreth as requested where we met with Adet'pa and J'Ula who both gave an explanation on what was being asked, we were to go with them to the Klingon Underworld of Gre'thor in order to find L'Rell's soul which was lost there, Martok also joined us with this request while Adet'pa stayed behind. A very unusual request to ask but we accepted the request and after applying incense into a brazier we began the unusual away mission.

We found ourselves in some kind of mist filled void called Koth with no indication of where to go, a short wander led us to someone we had not expected to encounter, former Klingon Chancellor Gowron. It seems that with the dishonour brought about by Aakar with their actions have impacted Gowron's passage in the afterlife as Gowron is a grandson of Aakar's, the dishonour of the father, or grandfather in this case, is passed on to their descendents for three generations from what I understand.
Gowron offered to help us get to Gre'thor which I learned was surprisingly kind of him, as I understand it he didn't do anything for anyone unless there was something in it for himself. We did need to find L'Rell's soul though so his offer of help was accepted and we found ourselves next on The Barge Of The Dead where after a brief talk with Kortar, the ferryman for the Barge, according to Klingon lore he was the first Klingon and the slayer of the Klingon Gods which saw him punished for his deeds by becoming the ferryman for eternity, and some of the lost souls we ended up in a brief fight which didn't last long. Once the fight was done with I spoke to Kortar again who took us to Gre'thor.

Upon arriving at Gre'thor we proceeded to locate the soul of L'Rell by asking around before we ended up in another fight, this time with the Sons Of None. We were aided by a mysterious arrival who turned out to be L'Rell, after J'Ula and Martok explained why L'Rell was needed she offered to help us leave Gre'thor but in order to do so we had to meet with Fek'lhr in order to make a deal that would be satisfactory to them so that we could leave with L'Rell.

We met with Fek'lhr in their throne room only to have to fight them when they refused J'Ula's request, we were able to satisfy Fek'lhr with our fight which meant they were willing to hear J'Ula's offer again. Fek'lhr wanted a soul for a soul which J'Ula was intending to offer with her own, however Gowron offered their soul in trade as long as Aakar and J'mpok's souls were sent to Gre'thor in order to fulfil the bargain which in turn would allow Gowron to proceed to Sto-vo-kor.
With the deal agreed to we were allowed to leave but Fek'lhr wasn't going to make it easy and we found ourselves having to fight our way back to the Barge.

After a lot of fights we made it back to the Barge and the world of the living, L'Rell's soul was sent to her recently made clone body. Fek'lhr wasn't done with us though as Fek'lhri arrived in Boreth's orbit. We returned to our respective ships while the monk's waited for L'Rell to wake, we had to defend Boreth no matter what.
The fight against the Fek'lhri was a tough one but we were able to stand our ground until L'Rell woke and arrived in orbit in a restored K't'inga class ship which L'Rell handed over command of to J'Ula, she also called for reinforcements which arrived to lend us a hand. We were able to defeat the Fek'lhri with help and leave the system once the system was secure from any farther Fek'lhti attacks.

That was definitely an unusual away team mission, definitely not your usual kind but it was a success. The Civil War isn't over yet but maybe there's a chance now to bring it to an end soon. I can only hope.

Log Ends.

Mission 126: Klingon Civil War – Warriors Of The Empire

We have been called back to the Boreth system to meet with Martok and the others, they had a plan to take control of several stations and our help was requested. I beamed over to the I.K.S. K'T'Inga where I met with Martok, J'Ula, L'Rell and Adet'pa who all had suggestions in how to proceed with the plan to not only clear our names but also find allies against J'mpok and his allies.
After talking to each of them it was decided to go with L'Rell's plan, to aid a smaller House and gradually work towards helping the smaller houses so that our aid would be seen and respected with the hope of people joining us after seeing our actions in helping those most in need, from there we would return to Qu'Vat and help against the corrupted Elachi there while also dealing any of J'mpok's forces along the way.
If we could impress the larger houses with these efforts then it would help with the central goal of stopping J'mpok.

With this plan decided on I returned to the ship and we got underway to the Rura Penthe system to help one of the smaller houses, House Kang, as one of their people, a General K'nal, was being held there.
On arrival we began working on disabling the defences of each orbital station so that Martok could take boarding parties to search for the general. During the search Martok rescued warriors loyal to K'nal, the general wasn't in the stations we had disabled but an old 'friend' was, Madren. He informed us that K'Nal had been taken to another station for medical treatment, with this information in hand we beamed Madren to our brig and proceeded to the station where after a another fight the general was found alive and beamed aboard.
We received a transmission from Adet'pa who informed us that House Korath in the Forcas system had come under attack and their ships had been disabled by Aakar's computer virus from before and needed help. We warped to the aforementioned system to render the required aid and countermeasures against the virus, J'mpok's forces didn't make things easy but that was to be expected.

On arrival we rendered the required aid to the disabled Korath ships while dealing with an Admiral D'vur, one of J'mpok's loyalists. We were eventually successful against him thanks to the sacrifice of one of House Korath's generals, General G'traq. After the battle was over House Korath, their forces now under the command of a Captain B'enar, swore to assist us against J'mpok and we proceeded to the Qu'Vat system to render aid against the corrupted Elachi.

As we helped the Qu'Vat defenders, led by a Captain Kruar, against the corrupted Elachi we closed each rift that opened as quickly as we could, a much larger rift opened near the planet with our scans showing that someone was keeping the rift open on the other side, we had no choice but to beam into the rift to find a way to close it before it became even more of a threat to the lives on the planet.

After beaming into the rift we located any communication beacons so that we could call for Tarsev's help against the corrupted Elechi and in closing the rift. Tarsev told us of a series of consoles connected to a machine called a Shaper, we helped them to take the Shaper offline while defending them and J'Ula as they worked. Eventually we were successful in disabled the Shaper which helped most of the corrupted Elachi to recover from the madness caused by the Shaper, there were still some to be dealt with so we returned to our respective ships to deal with them and close the rift.
With this all finally done and Qu'Vat safe we left the system while the news on our efforts spread throughout the Empire, with any luck we'll have even more allies with us when we face J'mpok.

This civil war may be coming to an end soon.

Mission 127: Klingon Civil War – A Day Long Remembered

J'mpok and his allies were cornered in the Qo'noS system, it was time to take the fight to them and bring an end to J'mpok and Aakar's plans by any means.
Once again back at Boreth I beamed over to the I.K.S. K'T'Inga to meet with our allies and to go over the plan of attack before heading to Qo'noS to face J'mpok and his forces. Once done I returned to the Grampian, warping to Qo'noS with the rest of the fleet.

Warping into the Praxis Debris Field we made our way through to Qo'noS with J'mpok's forces doing what they could to stop us from advancing and failing, J'mpok tried to destroy our forces with the stolen Myceliai weapon but found that opening a rift only gave us more allies as the Liberated Elachi joined the fight with the K'T'Inga.
With their help we were able to disable J'mpok's flagship but he beamed down to Qo'noS before we could gave him so we had no choice but to beam down to the First City to take the fight to his forces there.

Fighting our way through his forces we met with loyalist forces who were also against J'mpok, they joined us in our assault and invaluable asset. We met with an Orion smuggler who, after surrendering to our forces, offered us access to Tetryon explosives that would help take down the shields around the Great Hall in exchange for his life being spared. Of course we had to deal with Imperial forces in order to get access to them so we headed to a nearby warehouse where they were being stored and did just that.
With the explosives claimed we were able to take down the shield surrounding the Great Hall and advance inside where more of J'mpok's forces were waiting for us as well as Aakar, Martok was injured during the fight so had to return to the Rotarran for medical treatment before joining the forces in orbit while J'Ula was fighting J'mpok.
After defeating Aakar once Adet'pa managed to stop him from beaming away so much J'Ula was able to deal with J'mpok who was successful defeated, he tried to set off explosives that were within the core of Qo'noS, they had been placed there in the 2250s by Starfleet during the war with the Klingons, but was stopped when L'Rell removed his hand which was holding the detonator before J'Ula delivered the killing blow.

With J'mpok dead J'Ula had the right to be the new Chancellor but she turned it down, handing it to L'Rell instead as she felt she wasn't what the Empire needed but that L'Rell would be perfect for the position.
After the fight me and my team returned to the Grampian as our work was done there.

We returned to Qo'noS two weeks later on request, after some brief chats I met with L'Rell and J'Ula who informed me that whatever the future will hold for the Empire now they are grateful for the help from me, my crew and our ship in their civil war.
With our duty done me and my team returned to the Grampian, whatever awaits for us next we'll face it as we always have. With sheer stubborn determination as always.

Mission 128: Terran Gambit – Firewall

A classified Starfleet facility in the Izar system has requested the USS Grampian to drop by as they have a high profile person in custody who is requesting to talk to me. Whoever it is is very insistent and refuses to talk to anyone else but me about whatever it is they are wanting to say.

On arrival to the system we received a distress call that the facility was under attack by who we quickly found to be Terran Empire forces when a captain Othu hailed us seconds later, we quickly rendered assistance in dealing with the attackers before beaming down to the facility where more Terran forces were causing issues.
Meeting with a Kyle Desoto who informed us of the extent of the issue and that we needed to help with restoring full power to the facility while dealing with the Terran forces, with his assistance we fought our way through their forces while restoring power to key systems, the brig where the person who wanted to talk to us was still online so they were secure.
Once power was restored we made our way to the brig which was under attack, we made our way to the brig and spoke to the prisoner once we dealt with the attacking Terran forces. The high profile person was Admiral Leeta of the Terran Empire, she was, as expected, vague about why she wanted to talk to me other than the Terran Emperor had learned of some kind of powerful weapon that posed a considerable threat. She didn't go into detail, again as expected.

After our wee chat with her we were informed of another attack by the Terrans, this time on the data lab. We made our way there and found that the Terran Empire version of Kuumaarke was already there stealing data from the computers, she escaped just as we cornered her after she wiped the system.
Desoto and Leeta joined us at the lab where I informed Desoto of what the Terran Empire Kuumaarke had done, we had to go after her which meant going into the Terran Empire universe to retrieve the stolen data. We beamed back to the ship and entered their universe with the aid of the USS Khonshu, which had the technology to open a portal, and faced off against Terran forces at their version of the facility in the same system.

Once it's defences were disabled we beamed over and fought our way through to the Agonizer Chamber were the Terran Empire version of Desoto was being detained in an Agonizer Booth, we were able to get some information before he died suddenly from a sudden ramped up charge from the booth, a horrific way to die.
As we needed more information on exactly what the Emperor had learned we had to make our way to the data lab on the Terran facility so we fought our way through until we got there and defended an exocomp as it retrieved the stolen information.
Once that was done we beamed back to the ship to face off against Kuumaarke who retreated before she could be captured, the Khonshu opened a new portal just as more Terran forces arrived. They stayed behind to buy us time to return to this universe and didn't retreat through the portal with us, we don't know what happened to them. Hopefully they managed to retreat.

Whatever the Emperor has discovered has scared Admiral Leeta enough to come to this universe for help, hopefully we can face this threat and stop the Emperor from whatever they have planned.
